Meet the Winemaker

I started taking classes on winemaking while still active duty in the military. My original plan was to move back to Colorado and be a defense contractor but fell in love with the central coast of California and the art of winemaking!

After retiring from the military I used my GI bill to earn two associate degrees in grape growing and winemaking. While in school, I worked part-time in tastings rooms and doing internships learning various aspects of the wine industry. In 2018 we started Rockets Red Wines to share amazing wines and highlight our time in the military while giving back to the veteran and local community.
